Mariem Ameur is a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Registered Acupuncturist with a robust clinical background spanning diverse placements across Toronto, including the Toronto People With AIDS (PWA) Foundation, the Tzu Chi Clinic, and community-based care at Michael Garron Hospital. She graduated with Honours from the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner Advanced Diploma program at Humber Polytechnic.
My path to Eastern medicine is uniquely enriched by my prior five-year career in Western healthcare, where I practiced as a nurse anesthetist in hospital settings in Morocco. Moving from the high-intensity environment of conventional medicine to the holistic lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine gifted me with sharp diagnostic judgment and a deep appreciation for looking at modern wellness through a truly dual-lens perspective.
Today, I center my practice on treating the whole person rather than just a single symptom. I am passionate about supporting patients as they navigate complex health journeys, specializing in women’s health and hormonal wellness, stress and mental well-being, digestive support, and pain management.
I believe that genuine healing begins in a calm, respectful, and supportive space where you feel truly heard. My goal is to build a collaborative, transparent relationship with you; offering care fluently in English, French, and Arabic; so you are empowered with the clarity and knowledge needed to achieve long-term vitality.
